Delete your ShiftAlarm account and online data
You can delete a registered ShiftAlarm account directly in the app. The app's core features remain available without a registered account.
Delete your account in the app
- In ShiftAlarm, tap the profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Tap Account.
- In the danger zone, tap Delete account.
- Read the notice and confirm again with Delete account.
Depending on the sign-in method used, ShiftAlarm may require you to authenticate again before deletion to make sure the request is being made by the authorised account owner.
For accounts using Sign in with Apple, ShiftAlarm may require Apple re-authentication during the deletion process. ShiftAlarm then revokes the Apple sign-in authorisation associated with the account where applicable.
What is removed after successful deletion?
- your registered Firebase Authentication account,
- the associated Firestore user data containing account and Pro metadata,
- the RevenueCat customer linked to the same user ID and its ShiftAlarm association.
Referenced administrative audit fields may be anonymised instead of fully removed where this is required for integrity or security purposes.
Transaction or subscription records that are technically or legally required may remain with Apple, Google or other payment or store providers under their own retention rules.
What is not removed automatically?
Shifts, calendar entries, vacation, sickness and other absences, overtime, profiles, settings, alarms, widgets and local backups remain stored on your device.
You can remove this local data separately in the app, by clearing the app's data or by uninstalling the app.
Support and feedback data voluntarily submitted to Supabase is stored as a separate dataset and is not automatically deleted together with your registered ShiftAlarm account.
If you also want separately stored feedback data deleted, contact support and, where available, provide the contact information used at the time, the subject and the approximate date of submission.
Technical feedback rate-limit hash buckets are not part of your ShiftAlarm account. They are removed after seven days as part of the scheduled cleanup process.
Important: subscriptions are not cancelled automatically
Deleting your ShiftAlarm account or uninstalling the app does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel an active subscription separately through the store where it was purchased.
Google Play
- Open Google Play and tap your profile picture.
- Open Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Select ShiftAlarm and tap Cancel subscription.
Official Google Play instructions
Apple App Store
- Open Settings on your iPhone and tap your name.
- Open Subscriptions.
- Select ShiftAlarm and tap Cancel Subscription.
Request deletion outside the app
If you can no longer access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing support.shiftalarm@gmail.com .
Where possible, use the email address linked to your ShiftAlarm account and clearly state that you want the account deleted.
Never send your password, complete backup files, payment details or other confidential information.
Only information necessary to identify the correct account and prevent an unauthorised deletion will be requested. A purchase receipt or official identity document is not required by default.
After deletion
Deletion of the registered account cannot be undone. If you later want to use ShiftAlarm with an account again, you can register a new account.
Local data is not automatically linked to a new account or to a previous ShiftAlarm Pro purchase.
For more information about how personal data is processed and deleted, see the Privacy Policy.
